Multiple Breed-Specific Bills Introduced in Oklahoma
January 26, 2006
There are currently four separate dangerous dog bills that have been introduced into the Oklahoma legislation.
If enacted, these laws would allow breed banning in our state!

Senate Bill S1569 - by Sen. Cliff Aldridge
would change the current dangerous dog law to allow for banning of breeds.

Senate Bills S1702 - Sen. Susan Paddack:
would change the current dangerous dog law to allow for banning of breeds.

House Bill H2657 - Rep. Paul Wesselhoft
details restrictions on owning a "dangerous" dog, and also allows for breed banning.

House Bill H2658 - Rep. Paul Wesselhoft
details restrictions on owning a pit bull (deemed a dangerous dog).
