Dobermans!

"Energetic, watchful, determined, alert, fearless, loyal and obedient". That's what the official Doberman Pinscher standard says, and that is certainly true. But Dobes are also goofy, silly and very very "velcro"!

Dobes are wonderful family dogs, but they are not dogs to be thrown outside, for they need to be around their family constantly. Since they are inquisitive, intelligent dogs, you definitely need to invest time in obedience training! Dobes do well in dog sports, such as agility, rally obedience, and also are good search and rescue dogs.

Please educate yourself on the issue of albino Dobes. Irresponsible breeders are marketing them as "white" Dobes, but they are actually "tyrosinase positive" or "partial" albinos. Unfortunately, there are many health and temperament issues with these Dobes, including sensitivity to sunlight, vision and skin problems, fear aggression.
